REAPER for Noise Artists
A workshop led by noise artist Anju Singh (The Nausea, Deliriant Fracture) to get artists working with noise, experimental music, and sound art sound sources to produce with REAPER to better record and document their sounds. REAPER is an affordable yet powerful software.
In this 90-minute workshop, participants will:
- set up your interface
- record 2-3 sounds
- mix to form a 60 second track
- export the track
- learn how to configure for multi-channel output
The workshop moves fast, so to get the most out of the workshop, please arrive on time and prepared with:
- laptop with REAPER already installed and ready to go (you can use the free 60-day trial for this session)
- interface for your computer (if you have one)
- headphones
Pre-registration is required.
If you don't have or can't bring a laptop to the session, no problem - you'll just pair with another participant with a laptop.
No filming, photos, or audio recording of the session please.
